Mary Ann Larson, Director

Mary joined the UNOHP staff in May 1998 after having worked at the Oral History Program at the University of Alaska Fairbanks for eight years. She holds an MA and PhD in anthropology from Brown University, where her specialty was ethnohistory. Formerly a member of the Southwest Oral History Association board and the Oral History Association's Council, she is currently an editor for the organization's affiliated listserv, H-Oralhist. She became director January 1, 2009, upon the retirement of Tom King.
